Do you have A.T. devices that aren’t being used? CIL also offers free loaner equipment as part of our Assistive Technology Program. Please note that we have a limited number of wheelchairs and scooters available as this service depends on donated equipment.
Due to limited capacity, we are no longer accepting commodes and 2-wheel walkers.

Examples of AT that CIL usually accepts:
- Magnifiers, including digital
- Tablets, mounts for tablets and phones
- Over-the-counter hearing aids
- Switches or adaptive controls for computers and phones
- Dressing aids, bed ladders, and bed rails
- Talking watches, measuring cups, thermometers, etc.
- Electric scooters and powerchairs, depending on condition
- Canes, rollators, knee-scooters, and forearm crutches (no axillary crutches please)
- Front or rear lights for safe nighttime mobility
