Yvetta Griffin-Jackson (pronounced e-vetta) is a Bay Area native, born in Berkeley and raised between Berkeley, Oakland, and Richmond. She enjoys freshwater fishing, cooking, and beading jewelry, and her favorite place is Yosemite. Yvetta holds an A.A. in Black Studies with a focus on mental health and addiction and is interested in continuing her education. She enjoys reading and documentaries and brings a thoughtful and community-centered perspective to her work.
