Mia is a multiracial, queer public health leader, organizer, and advocate who brings a collaborative, justice-centered approach to programs, policy, and people. She joins us from Alameda Health Consortium, where she served as Senior Manager of Integrated Health & Community Relations. In that role, she helped set strategic direction, supported and supervised multidisciplinary teams, and oversaw behavioral health and care coordination programs across eight community health centers in the East Bay.

Mia has extensive experience managing grant-funded initiatives and partnering with community organizations, clinicians, and policymakers to strengthen mental health and substance use services. Her work is grounded in disability justice, anti-racism, and collective care, and she is passionate about building organizational cultures that center relationships, interdependence, and sustainability.
