I am a SF Bay Area native.  In 2010, I studied abroad in France for a semester and experienced my only white Christmas. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2012 with a BA in Psychology and worked in foster group homes briefly before needing to adjust to my “mandatory guilt-free vacation”/ disability in 2013. CIL has given a lot of support in the creation and maintenance  of the “Acquired Disability Peer Support Group” I launched and lead.
